Treatments / Missing teeth / Sinus lift
Sinus lift.
A sinus lift is an oral surgical procedure that extends into the sinus cavity above the jaw and packs bone graft material into this space, preparing the upper jaw for implant placement.

When it is needed
When the bone has been gone a while, we rebuild it.
When the upper jaw has had no teeth for some time, the bone and surrounding tissues begin to disappear. The grafted material integrates with surrounding bone to create a solid structure; after adequate bone density develops, implant placement can proceed.
