White fillings.
White dental fillings are a safe procedure: one of our dentists removes any decay from your tooth, takes out the metal or amalgam filling, and places a tooth-coloured filling instead.
Silver vs white
The filling that blends in, not the one that shows.
Tooth-coloured · From £120
White fillings
Durable, hard-setting composite that blends seamlessly with your natural teeth, and can also repair broken teeth.
Metal · Visible
Silver fillings
Visible and noticeable during normal activities, and unable to repair broken teeth the way composite can.

How long they last
Around eight years, longer with care.
White fillings are incredibly strong and, on average, can last around eight years. Longevity improves with brushing, flossing, regular dental visits and avoiding excessive pressure on the teeth.
